About
Based on the Atherton Tablelands, Far North Occupational Therapy is owned and operated by Helen Starr. Helen is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with workplaces and caseloads ranging from tertiary hospital acute care services to community based work in very remote communities. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children.
Services
Far North Occupational Therapy provides wholistic and person-centred Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention services on the Atherton Tablelands and surrounds.
NDIS
Occupational Therapy services to plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants aged nine years and over. Available services include: Functional Capacity Assessments, Supported Independent Living Assessments, assistive technology and equipment assessments, and Capacity Building intervention sessions.
NIISQ
Care and Support Advice assessments and reports for the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ). Helen also has experience in providing equipment prescription and case management services to NIISQ participants.
Other
Far North Occupational Therapy has some availability to provide assessments and services through other funding bodies including CTP insurers and private clients.
